Tyler McLean grew up in Estevan, Saskatchewan, where his passion for hockey began on the local rinks. After honing his skills in minor hockey, he moved to Peace River to play Junior B for the North Peace Navigators. His dedication paid off when he helped the team clinch a championship in his second season. Relocating to Calgary, Tyler transitioned into the restaurant and brewing industry, where he's thrived professionally. Now in his third year of coaching with the Stars organization, Tyler brings a wealth of experience and a deep love for the game to his role, guiding and inspiring the next generation of hockey players.
