Stars HSL Testimonials

The Stars Academy strives to provide the best programming for our athletes in a community atmosphere based on close relationships and respect.  Stars engages many third party coaches and experts to assist in not only the physical development of our athletes, but also their mental toughness and all around wellbeing.  Please find a few testimonials below from those who have participated in the HSL program under the Stars Academy.

Our first year of Airdrie Stars 2008 Academy has been an amazing experience for our family. Our son has been supported and encouraged throughout the season. I have watched my son and his team improve far beyond my expectations. With more ice time and off ice team training these kids have a much better opportunity to improve than traditional Minor hockey.

After our community hockey association became too difficult to be a member of, we were on the lookout to find a competitive association/league for our son. It is important for us and our son to play in an association which appropriately represents our community.

The Stars Academy, specifically the ‘08 Airdrie Stars, has not only met our needs, but it exceeded many of our expectations.

For instance, before having to commit by paying fees, we were clearly communicated as to what skill level our team would compete in, who the coaches would be, what the game & practice schedules are including off-schedule weekend dates for the season. Furthermore, we were also communicated the roster and the families we were joining, on & off ice conditioning plan, guest coaches (professional coaching), and so much more! This program also welcomes a wider range of sponsorship opportunities.

Most importantly, we have seen an impressive on & off ice player development that was not available in previous years within the community hockey program. The positive and transparent communication to players and parents is excellent. We are really happy and satisfied so far! Thank you, Stars Academy for living up to your commitments and reputation.
